Security and abuse prevention: Art. 31 para. 2 lit. b FADP; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Legal obligations such as accounting and tax retention: Art. 31 para. 1 FADP; Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
4. Data Retention
Inquiry data: up to 3 years after last contact, unless a business relationship is established
Order and billing records (if a sale completes): 10 years (Swiss Code of Obligations Art. 958f)
Web server logs: up to 30 days for security purposes
5. Recipients and Processors
Formspree (US): processes contact form submissions; transfers protected by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Google Fonts (US/EU): your IP and user agent are transmitted when the page loads.
Abacus (jasoncameron.dev): a free, anonymous hit-counter API used to display aggregate monthly visits per parked domain. When you load the page we increment a counter associated only with the domain name you visited and the current month. No IP, cookie, fingerprint or other personal data is transmitted to Abacus; the request contains only the domain identifier and is deduplicated locally for 6 hours via browser storage.
Escrow.com: used for secure domain transfers; subject to its own privacy policy.
6. International Transfers
Some processors are located outside Switzerland and the EEA. Transfers to the United States are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks.
